1. Banner Size and Appearance.
The only requirement that we have for appearance is that your banner is not too flashy and bright. Most people find it extremely irritating to look at bright and flashy images and it can even induce headaches. Some of our members and staff have chronic migranes and so anything we can do to avoid this would be great. We only accept banners that are 88x31 pixels. If your banner is too large, you can use this code into it to make it fit:
2. Site content and Theme.
We reserve the right to deny an application if the site is considered inappropriate for young children. Our site allows thirteen year old children to join and is appropriate for all ages so we cannot accept a site that is inappropriate for our members. We will not deny a site based on appearance unless your colors are too bright and flashy or your site has offensive material on it.
3. Placement.
We require you to place our image where you want your image to be placed. Because we do not have a scrolling position, we expect our button to be placed in either marquee, static, or sister. If you refuse to do so we reserve the right to deny your application. We currently have 12 static positions open. Once these are all filled you will be unable to apply for a static position unless one is opened up through termination. We have 3 sister affiliation positions open. Sister affiliations are required to have at least ten members or fifteen accounts online daily.
4. Termination.
In the event that your site becomes inactive, we reserve the right to remove your affiliation. Inactivity is defined in our terms as "a site that has fewer than ten in character posts a week or you have fewer than two members on in the last twenty-four hours of when we re-evaluate our affiliations". Typically, affiliations will be re-evaluated once every two weeks, though which exact day is to our discretion.
5. Applying.
We ask that each affiliation request is created in a new thread in this category. We ask that you copy and paste our code and use it in a new thread titled with your site's name in proper capitalization. We will know if you read the rules by this alone.
