APPEARANCE
Immediately noticeable, are the charming, serene sky blue eyes that Silver has, the sharp orb colouring makes a bold statement against his soft toned silver pelt. This particular coat is fine and soft, silky to the touch, it's evident with its smooth layers, that it's well kept, and groomed regularly. Embedded into the silver's fine fur, are thick waved darker greys and blacks; as rich as coal, which display a tabby's familiar pattern, with the trademark 'M' on his forehead. Beside his well kept and handsome coat, Silver is very sleek and fit making him defined in the arts of movement, basically meaning, that he's got a nimble frame for fighting and swiftness. His muscles are defined and suited for acceleration, jumping high boundaries, and agility. He's a little taller than average, standing at around 26cm, with firm legs and body structure. There's no doubt about it though, for one of the felidae species, Silverfang is indeed a delight to set eyes upon - even if he himself, does not see it this way.

positives
✓ Leader - Although he is not one rank wise, Silver is strong leadership material. His intelligence, and wisdom helps him be very mature when it comes to guidance. He is not bossy, but more so reassuring and keeps things organised, he's a vivid planner and knows what each cat may be capable of in his clan. This organisation makes him able to know who's suited best for what. Of course, he has no power to give orders, Silver is simply one for leadership material.
✓ Friendly - As mentioned several times, Silver is very approachable. A cat like any other, he's very sweet, charming and soft. He does have a firm side, but this comes under his bravery (as listed below). Silver is very easy to make friends with and enjoys seeing other cats laugh or enjoy themselves. He's very fond with Kits and is very playful toward them, being not only a loyal friend, but a great fatherly figure.
✓ Brave - Bravery is needed in these times. Like a lone ranger, not afraid of anything (well, all cats are afraid of something!), this handsome fellow is easily capable of confronting danger. As part of his bravery, he uses his intelligence over brawn, and likes to keep things stable. Even the meanest of cat does not scare him easily, but this only comes with Silver's smarts, trying to keep the best of any worst situation. This courage, also helps Silver face even the most unusual of challenges.
✓ Intelligent - Born with a high IQ, it does assist Silver greatly in tactics. It allows him to literally, calculate things beforehand. Of course, he's not some overly powerful smart cat, but enough understanding and logical thinking to make things a little more elaborate than they should be. Silver's known to think things a little too deeply, and this can also be his downfall. Sometimes, it's best to think simply, than to not at all. But with his smarts, it's very helpful for overcoming dramatic obstacles and planning ahead.
✓ Wise - He has much knowledge, despite his age. Referring to his intelligence, he's very potent about wrongs and rights. He knows when something is morally wrong, and when something is humbly right, and often tries to inflict this wisdom among others, to try and, calm their minds and reassure them. For advice, he's rather good at giving it, of course, if you don't mind sitting down and listening to him. But he makes for a nice story teller as well, and guides Kits and even older cats, into a new path of life.
negatives
x Stubborn - It's very dangerous to be stubborn, and well, Silver is very much so. Even during arguments, battles, or other, he is not one to give up so easily. And it can be a massive flaw of his. Due to his sensitive nature (as listed below), he can become a little overwhelming with his stubbornness. Sometimes, doing things is not easy for him to do, especially if he sees an alternative side to it. Silver would never disobey orders, but it does not mean, that, he'll enjoy doing them if he sees other solutions.
x Sensitive - Sadly, one major flaw against Silver, are his emotions. He can be very protective, and unstable regarding his feelings. Mostly because he keeps them bottled up (refer to Secretive below). If any other cat would know about his emotions, it would be an definite clash against Silver's soft heart. Affecting his family, or friends, is only one real way, to hurt this cat - via emotions, rather than physical wounds.
x Secretive - Luckily for Silver, keeping his secrets doesn't make him a bitter cat, but rather, instead, it makes him a very secluded one. He's not easy to open up to others, but it is not because he trusts them so much, but it's mainly because he feels that others, should not need worry about the burdens in his life. And well, this affects his sensitive side also, making him very touchy about ay hidden subjects. He can get a bit snippy to his friends if they ever refer to hidden information, but it's all for a good cause.
x Impatient - Because Silver prefers to keep himself forward, and ahead of things, he likes to make sure that things get done under orders. He can get fairly impatient when it comes to the smallest things in life, and isn't one to wait around for the worst. Silver likes to keep things moving, and believes that when things are at a faster pace, it's better that way.
x Proud - I guess you can say. Silver's one to be very proud of himself. It can get a little overwhelming to some, but he doesn't flaunt it. Even so, he likes to know he's up there somewhere at least, being the best he can be ... with the cost of annoying a few others with such a goody two shoes uppercat nature.
so to summarize
Silver, an extremely loyal, friendly, heart warming cat. He cherishes his friends very much, and makes for a good companion in the darkest of situations. With his intelligence and wisdom leading the way, he's very good for scary scenarios and supporting and uplifting the fear from others. Especially alongside his leadership material, Silver is a strong friend to keep. But every friend has their flaws, for example, with Silver, his stubborn nature can get him into amounts of trouble, and his sensitivity doesn't help all too much either. It allows the enemy to enter his mind and attack what really affects him the most, his loved ones. Beside this, Silver keeps most things a secret to prevent hurting those he loves. He's fairly proud of whom he is as a cat, which can be a little boastful, and he also comes across as very impatient in some situations. Overall though, Silver is worth the time of friendship, if you're one to be in his heart, for a very long time.
HISTORY
i am but one of many in this world of greatness
With 5 other mewing siblings, he was a unique individual form the start. He was the only Kit of the litter that bore brilliant vibrant blue orbs - the others, hosted a natural resemblance to the Tom. Where as, their Queen, bore the vibrant blue eyes. Her fine fur, silky coat and personality seemed to have biologically transfer. Silver's experiences in this new world were indeed by far an amazing one. With every step he took as a young Kit, as a new journey in life, his Queen and Tom took care of him brilliantly so, among his siblings. Well fed enough, kept sharp and aware of their surroundings. As of so far, there were no hardships or flaws in their birth and growth.
and my paws guide me ever more
With every growing Kit, they need to learn the rights and wrongs in life. Having developed his mothers keen wits and soft heart, this little Kit was intelligent even in growing up. His Tom was able to see this in him, but desired more of him to grow to be strong and bold, able to fight for himself, and defend himself in the foreseeable future. With both Queen and Tom placing knowledge into their Kits, it was hard for Silver to concentrate solely on what he wanted to do. In being a brave, and adventurous type, he preferred to allow himself the risk of trying new things, when, of course, he shouldn't. With both his Tom and Queen able to see this in him, where as the others did not display it, they kept their focus on him a little more to ensure his growth would be a safe one.
At the age of 3 Moons, his senses were much sharper, and his learning had developed dramatically. Silver had become bolder, wiser, and very friendly in regard to those he interacted with. For his Tom and Queen, they were proud of his development and growth along with his siblings. Of course, his siblings had separated to live their own lives at 3 Moons, and were trained in understanding the world around them, so, Silver himself, was able to head off into the large outdoors.
And it would be noted, that every so often, Silver returned to his Tom and Queen to visit, ensuring for their safety and wellbeing. But this had ended, upon his age of 7 moons. He'd encountered hardships, and fought to fend for his own. His bravery strengthened, as did his wits and intelligence. But he did not return to his birth parents, believing, that their lives, would be spent in peace until the very end. If he were to visit again, it would upon their decease, wishing them well into the afterlife. But for one whom travelled so often with courage leading his every step, Silver ensured to keep himself ahead rather, than behind.
i shall follow a pathway that leads me to heaven
With dangers of defending himself against other predators, that of badgers, bigger birds, and thriving off the essentials of the land, Silver ensured his survival instincts were in top shape. By 12 moons, he had fully matured, becoming a well raised, up-kept Tom all on his own. With his vast knowledge in hunting, and detail and skills in battle, Silver endured the trials of the wild and the life of a Tomcat. But, it was upon hunting on a fair night, when the air was bitter, that he encountered a brethren, another Tom. At first, he had been weary, remembering his mother's words, her soft voice, embedding into his skull the encounters of life. "Fear makes strangers of people who would be friends." Only by trying, could be pursue the answers of life's challenges and learn from right from wrong - wisdom. Eventually, he had confronted the Tom, and they spoke, regarding the clans that were forming, inhabiting the lands slowly, or some speaking of past clans before. It had let Silver's intentions to become braver and bolder, a chance to join a clan, a community where he can provide and ensure the safety of others - just as his mother and father had desired, to help those in need.
Murmurs and quiet whispered revealed to Silver the extent of the clans atmospheres around him. Although newly developing, he knew where he wanted to reside. He knew, the environment on which he wished to be supportive, to follow and assist in. A clan, dubbed, HillClan. With it's stable sounding community, Silver had sought out Snowfire, the alleged Leader of the clan.
the three tests as regulated, the awaited trial of truth
Speed is determined by how fast the cat can run; it is matched with hunting in only the aspect that the cat outrun and still capture a rabbit. however, in most cases; the cat who is taking the test will challenge the clan's fastest runner - should they manage to keep up, or out run the cat then they will be moved onto the next test.
Swift paws took him, guided him with strength of muscles and agility. But a silver haze, that manoeuvred so profound through the thickets. At first, it was the option of hunting a rabbit, but for the bold, and oh so Proud Tom, it seemed very little effort for him. The match against his competitor, however, was indeed a challenge within itself. At first, he fell behind, trying to maintain his self dignity, but at the same time, keep his breathing steady, his paws at a rhythm, and allow himself to glide across the earth like a whippet hound. Needless to say, he had managed to succeed in this trial, under of course, the guidance of his mentors around him.
Hunting is determined by how much prey the cat can catch between sunrise to sunhigh. if the cat catches more then four rabbits and two pieces of prey (bird or field mice) between this time - they may forgo the speed test; however if they catch but two rabbits and a few other pieces of prey they may move onto the next challenge which will be done the next day.
Although speed was a good criteria of this swift nimble Tom, the tactics of hunting, were not so much. It did not mean to say, it let him down however. Still deep in learning, his first few prizes were luck, the three rabbits a trial and error run. With flurry of claws and fierce fangs - render under his name, he was able to catch up to the tests protocols, just in the knick of time. It showed his stubbornness, his determination to never give up, and over all, his lack of fear in rejection - if so be it.
Fighting is the final test that is done (unless of course; the cat in question was brought in while fighting in defense. then it will be up to the cat who brought said cat in to determine their fighting skills) and usually takes place the day after the speed and hunting tests. fighting is not to the death; but it is until one cat is clearly determined the winner - or - one of them yields. should the cat who wishes to join yield they will be asked to return to their nest and await their decision.
Some would say, he was firm, and stood his ground. Others, say fearless, and heroic even. But upon Silver's abilities, it would be noticeable that he had a sheer lack of giving up. He even knew when to and when to not draw claw, but more so use strength to inflict damage in certain areas of the nerves. These particular tactics proved his knowledge and understanding of the body, and made the fearless fighter stronger in this category. Though not bred for fighting, Silver was indeed and most certainly, advanced in this skill.
Snow: "You have passed Speed, and Fighting. With much consideration we have decided to welcome you as member of our clan. Please step forth Silverpaw."
With noble paws, he stepped forward. He held his poise correctly, and showed much dignity and pride in his movements. From anyone who would confront such a cat, would know where his loyalties did lie. Entirely with HillClan, and the obedience and honesty under Snowfire's laws. And from the moons he rendered under Snowfire's clan, he spent it with his determination, loyalty, and pride. He proved, numerous times to Snowfire, his capabilities, and intelligence, able to resolve situations simply with logical thinking, and able to even predict the pathways of food to aid for the Hunter cats. You see, the logic in which Silver used, was astounding to others, and many believed his abilities in intelligence were bewildering! Silver had become a powerful asset to the clan, aiding wherever he was needed, and whenever. His brain proving to be his strength, alongside his quick wits, wisdom, and claws. A powerful addition to any group. And with his support, it allowed for him to improve in rank, approached by Snowfire his very self, having taken note of Silver's benefits to the clan.
Snow: I, Snowfire leader of HillClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of our noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn.
Silverpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?
Silverpaw: I do.
Snow: Then as leader of HillClan, I give you your warrior name. Silverpaw, from this moment you will be known as Silverfang. HillClan honors your Fighting, Speed, Intelligence, and Loyalty, and we welcome you as a full warrior of HillClan.
SAMPLE - This is an NPC provided in the sample, to allow you to get a feel for Silverfangs personality. It displays a Kit exploring the borders of HillClan early in the morning, and Silver, attending to this ensuring he is safe.
Not a sound stirred, in the silence of the morn'. All but the crinkle of leaves, flutter of feathers were heard in the far off distance. Small puffs of warmth emitted from the felines nostrils, representing his body heat emerging into the bitter crystallised air. His fine, silver coat seemed to blend in with the suns rise, against darkened environment, which varied of branches, and dead leaves. The tip of his tail twitched, and although he was quite complacent, there was minor stir that had his muscles tense, and his ears alert. This particular cat, had his mind elsewhere however, despite his attention on watching and listening for intruders. But, with things so gentle as of the moment, it allowed him to recall previous memories, and reflect on the peace that he had in his life now.
If it were not for the HillClan's generosity, and decency to accept him, he would have never have come so far. His abilities, his skills, would never have been acknowledged, and he would've been but a straggler in the open world, a lone ranger type material, seeking a pathway to follow, but, no destination. Sometimes, he believed that he was meant for that type of road, to help those along the way. But here ... at HillClan, he had the opportunity to start this, and make something of himself. If it meant fighting for your clan, then, well, god forbid anything, he'd certainly die trying for it. The sincerity about this refined silver cat had most on edge, it seemed he gave off, figuratively, an aura of authority, even, if he was not one. His intelligence by far, was the eccentric part of him. Even now, as he sat up firm, and ears twitching, Silverfang, was a cat with pride.
The sudden crack of twigs did have him alert, but, he did not even turn around to attend to the noise. "Kit, what are you doing so close to the borders?" Quirking a brow, he did not even look back, knowing from fine tuned senses. "Oh... How did you know it was me? And I'm not that close!" Chuckling with a warm-hearted tone to his voice, Silverfang stood, and his skyblue eyes settled on the youth, the 8 moon old who had not long been welcomed into the clan for a few days, just to ensure their safety. And every so often, Silverfang would sit outside the borderlines early rise, to ensure things were well - but, more so to have time to himself, oh, and to keep an out out for particular adventurous explorers
Flicking his ear via a minor irritated itch, he approached the Kit and nudged softly against their shoulder, gesturing for them to make move - back the way they came. "Well. Close is... I guess. Say. Here?" Using a claw, he scraped a line in the earth, smirking a little to the Kit in a playful manner until he nudged some more. "C'mon now. You know it is not safe at 'morn." The young Kit frowned and sighed, lowering their ears back in a representation of their scolding. "I.. I know. But I come to see you.." The fact that, this young one took his early morning to come say hello, was indeed a delight, and it had Silverfang feel a little more heartfelt about it. Sighing, the silver male nuzzled brief against the youth's side before starting to walk back, gesturing for the Kit to come. "Alright. How about, I stay closer next time? Hm? That way, you won't be in danger, and I can still come here early to keep watch?" Immediately, the young cat began to perk up, and showing joy, they nudged back against Silver's side, and laughing gently, the Warrior guided the Kit back toward the Clan's safe haven, every so often nudging the Kit in a playful manner.
There's no doubt about it though, for one of the felidae species, Silverfang is indeed a delight to set eyes upon - even if he himself, does not see it this way.
